Sandwich

Are you completely and utterly bored with lunch? Here are a few lightening quick, top ideas to help spice up your meals. Sara from Health Bolt has posted 6 great lunch-time alternatives, for those days when you just can’t face another salad! You can read the full article here.

Why not try these options instead:

  1. A burrito bowl instead of a regular burrito.
  2. Tuna salad with sliced tomatoes instead of a tuna melt.
  3. Have some variety – choose soup instead.
  4. Take advantage of the sides on the menu – order two or three different sides of vegetables.
  5. Why not have breakfast for lunch? Order a vegetable-filled omelet.
  6. So, you’re a little tired of greens today? It’s bound to happen. A salad doesn’t have to be lettuce!

Sara – thanks for visiting, and for letting me know to drop the ‘h’…it’s been changed now! LOL

  3. I always had an idea to open up a fruit bar. “Earth Sweets” Kind of like Jamba Juice expect just using fresh fruit. Would this supply a sufficient amount of the daily nutrients?
