Fitness Challenge for my Readers!
Many find that the support of exercising with a friend really helps in motivating them to continue. Personally, I do prefer to workout with someone else if I can however, it’s often difficult to find time, and for many it becomes easier to workout at home, as this cuts out traveling time etc. If you’re really stuck for time, you should check out Total Body Workout in 10 Minutes Flat, for a super quick routine!
Readers challenge
I’ve decided that it’s time to get my exercise plan going again, as I feel I should be doing more than just walking each week. So, I want to extend this challenge to all readers - please join with me in a new workout plan!
I think that each one of us can benefit from the support and encouragement of this challenge. So, if you do decide to take it up, please drop me a line, and we can spur each other on!
My workout plan
I chose the Exercise TV 5 day plan - Beach Body Ready, mainly because I liked the variety of different programs contained in this package. I haven’t watched all of the videos yet, but I will write about each of the five videos as they are completed.
I began my new plan yesterday with Day 1 Circuit Training, which took about 20 minutes. This is a full body fitness routine, to burn calories and define the muscles, and it’s a really great workout, which I thoroughly enjoyed! A fun workout is very important for me, if I’m going to stick with it, so the variety packed into this 20 minute video was a bonus.
How did I feel? Well, it got my heart rate pumping, my muscles were burning, and I did actually work really hard! I found the floor work difficult, as I usually do, because my arms are pretty weak, but since it’s only 20 minutes in total, it feels like your done in a flash, so that suits me!
Exercise TV have a fabulous package of Studio Workout Plans, where you can choose one to meet your individual needs, and also the appropriate intensity level for your current fitness state. If you want to take the challenge, you can either choose to follow the same plan as I did, or one that suits your needs better.

If you don’t have time to join an exercise class, this could be a great way for you to get support from others in the same situation, but still in the privacy of your own home, and at a time which suits you best. We can encourage each other to a fitter, healthier life!
