Dietriffic’s New Look – What Do You Think?
The new theme for Dietriffic is now up and running at last! It’s taken a few hours to iron out the problem areas today, but I think everything should be back in working order now.

First time visitor so I don’t no the old look but the new look is great. Blog is very well organized and I can find everything very easily. Going to start my journey to becoming a healtier person and plan on checking back in often. Later

Heeey Melanie, great new look. Well done you. Especially like the banner – beautiful colour, the way your text blocks up into it and the fact you’re able to point to specific posts, interesting bits of info, etc. Congratulations.

Melanie, the new design looks great. You guys did a great job! Since you haven’t received any constructive criticism, I’ll refrain from the praise and give you a few thoughts:
1. The top navigation links get lost a little bit in the logo/box at the top. The “Home” text blends across the left edge of the box. Maybe the links would stand out a little more if the text was bold or maybe just a different color.
2. The images behind the boxes across the top are a little bit distracting when trying to read the text. I don’t think this is bad but it is something I noticed.
3. The text in the footer is not lining up within the boxes. I’m using FF 2.0.0.6 right now. The Recent Discussion and Mel’s Favourites are off to the left and About is off to the right.
4. I’d recommend changing your AdSense ads to use the same color of links as the rest of your site. Right now they stand out a little too much and disrupt the nice even flow of the site.
5. For the ultimate in picky criticism, up in the header to the right of the woman’s foot and just before the white top section of the post, there are a few pixels of white visible on the blue background.
Both you and Armen have created a great design here and I think everything looks great!
