Cookie Monster Gets Healthy

When I was a kid I loved to watch Sesame Street, and in those days the Cookie Monster ate, well Cookies!

To be honest it didn’t make me want to veg out on “bad” food for the rest of my life either.

So, I have to admit I had mixed feelings when I heard that cookies are now a thing of the past for the lovable blue monster!

On the one hand, I’m glad kids are getting the message about healthy food. But really, isn’t this a step too far?

Check out the video:

I’d love to know what you think about Cookie Monster’s new eating habits. Do you think it’s a step in the right direction, or is it unnecessary?

Please share your thoughts!

Ha ha, that was great. Nice trip down memory lane — catchy tune too, I’ll probably have it going round my head for the next hour now! I’m sure it rings a bell though from when I was a youngster. Maybe he’s been on a health trip for longer than we realised? :-) ~ James

LOL, yes I know it’s a pretty catchy tune!

Who knows, maybe he’s been a closest health food fan for years now! That’s why he’s kept his youthful looks!!

    Hi Israel,

Yeah I’m not sure about it either. I suppose the best thing would be to ask some kids what they think, maybe as adults we don’t ‘get it’ anymore! :-)
