Competition: Win a Copy of Table Tucker

Are you struggling to eat healthy meals with the rising grocery and petrol prices?

Here in Australia, working mum Penina Petersen, has taking action to help her family and others in this battle, by producing her own eco smart cookbook called Table Tucker.

This menu planning book is intended to help you save thousands on groceries, while also saving time, sanity and world resources.

The book itself includes annual, seasonal and monthly pantry lists for buying in bulk. It also contains grocery lists for simple dinner menus each week and season of the year.

There are lots of additional hints and tips, and I really love the inspirational quotes and stories that are contained throughout the book, making it a little different to the norm.

Penina says:

“Table Tucker is designed to ease the pressure of the daily grind by putting a little more money in your wallet and designing pockets of time so you can get on with enjoying life.”

So, why am I telling you all about this book?

Well, I have one to give away completely free to you, my lovely readers!

Without you guys Dietriffic would not be what it is today, so I wanted to have a little fun, and give something away for free! :-)

The book is only available in Australia at present (valued at $38.80), so if you live anywhere else in the world you may be the only person in your country to own a copy (how cool is that?)!

Okay, so how do you win this book?

It’s quite simple really:

  • Leave a comment below telling me why you read Dietriffic = 1 name in the hat.
  • Or, if you have a blog, mention this competition in a post, come back here and leave a comment to let me know = 3 names in the hat.

The competition ends Monday morning 8am Australian time (GMT +11 hours)

The winner will be randomly selected from a hat, and I’ll announce who it is on Monday afternoon. I’ll also contact you directly via email for a forwarding address.

Note: postage is free to anywhere in the world!

So, what have you got to lose? I’m looking forward to hearing from you. :-)

Best wishes!

Hi Mel
Much like the rest of the gang I read Dietriffic because of all of those reasons, but the one that stands out the most for me is that I feel you really care about our general health, it is important to trust the person you are gaining knowelege and information from. You make my life easier with the new skills I have learned.
Thank you.

Hi everyone!
Thank you all for your answers so far. It’s been so lovely to hear from all of you.

I’m glad I don’t have to pick the best answer though…I don’t think I could choose :-)

I can’t remember how I ‘found’ this forum but it was some time ago….I read it intermittendly until at some point I obviously needed it!

Through Melanie I joined Spark People which is American based but there is even a Team Kiwi which means I can ‘translate’ and ‘convert’ many of the American ideals into my own country :-)

My latest entry in my Blog under the School Yard string includes info about how I found SP through Melanie and Dietriffic. The reason it’s mentioned is because I have decided not to rejoin the Uni-gym because of the sensible ideas I can do right here in my home – plus one of the reasons to take a 6mths membership was ‘see’ if anything was really doable.

I have had a Gym pass in the past but that was in a time variant of my life…..my life has changed a heckva lot in the last few years
