Healthy Snacks
The importance of healthy snacks cannot be underestimated.
While main meals are important, it’s often the snacks between meals that cause us to put on weight and experience slumps in energy through the day.
This is partly because people often plan their main meals, but do not plan their snacks, leaving them open to impulse snacks when hunger strikes. This type of snacking is where many people get their excessive intake of chocolate, potato chips, and fizzy drinks.
But, snacking doesn’t have to be that way.
While many advocate cutting out all snacks, that’s not what I advocate. I’m a snack junkie. But, that’s not the same as having junk snacks!
