I’ve already noticed quite a few people on Facebook mentioning they have a cold, and it’s not even officially fall yet.
So, why does the common cold occur more frequently during the fall (autumn) and winter months?
It’s actually not the cold weather itself which causes the cold, as some people think.
But rather, it is most likely to be caused by people spending more time indoors in close proximity to each other, which facilitates the spread of germs more readily.
This is another reason why children in day care or school are more prone to picking up the cold.

When I set up my Twitter account a few years ago, I had no idea it would potentially bring me exciting projects to work on.
Now I’ve heard people going on about the power of social media, and statements to that effect. And I’ve experienced it to some degree.
Connecting with people, making friends, developing business relationships, and getting some website traffic can all be considered ‘power’ to some degree or other.

I certainly don’t profess to know the exact formula for turning your kids into healthy eaters.
But it seems to me, there is one very important strategy for increasing the chances that your child will grow into a healthy eater, and it’s all about getting your focus right.
I’ve noticed this over and over again, if your area of focus is always on the short-term needs of your child, chances are you’ll spend much of your time feeling guilty that their diet isn’t up to scratch.
